Cause for Paws is a foster-based community located in Raleigh, North Carolina. We are helping to end pet abandonment, abuse, and neglect through our work with surrounding shelters, advocacy groups, and community outreach efforts. Our volunteers are dedicated to the welfare and safety of animals within the organization and beyond by providing their time, efforts, and homes to those in need. We pride ourselves on taking in some of the most at-risk, medically-dire, and overlooked animals to rewrite their stories with a happy ending!
Since 2011, Cause for Paws has rescued thousands of animals. Charles McCombs, one of the original founders, is still Chairman. The two thrift store locations help fund the rescue, although CFP relies on generous donors and community outreach events as well!
